Test of "Extended" Named Colors

This document test a browser's support for the extended set of named colors -- these names are supported by Netscape Navigator 3 and greater, and Internet Explorer 3 and greater. To use this test document, your browser must support BGCOLOR attributes to table TD elements.

NOTE 1 -- This document is properly displayed only on systems capable of "thousands" of colors. If you system can only display 256 colors, some of the colors may be correct, but most will be either dithered or substituted. In this case, this document is not such a good demonstration of these named colors, but is a good demonstration of color dithering and substitution!

NOTE 2 -- The color name aliceblue, although defined in the Netscape extended list of named colors, does not work properly with Windows version of Netscape Navigator 3 or 4.
