What is The HyperText Markup Language
- A language for marking portions of a text document, according to their meaning. For example:
<P> This is a paragraph of text .... </P>
denotes the text between the tags as a paragraph.
- HTML is designed to mark structure, and not presentation. Thus it is very hard to make the pages look nice....
